Quarter 4. As Jeff has already pointed out, this could be a challenging quarter. However, for some of us, this season is bringing on a whole new level of excitement. I am talking about, of course, the girly gamer’s Q4 picks. While Jeff’s list contains some gems that I myself am quite excited about (namely Uncharted 2 and Fallout 3 GOTY) there were a few names that slipped through the cracks that I’m looking forward to.
If you recall from my last post the game I’m most excited for is Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. I will journey through any wind or hail this fall weather will throw at me to find a copy of this game. I will defeat any foe in my way and overcome any obstacle. Too much? Ok, fine. But you get the drift…
Going along with that, I’ve always been a fan of Insomniac games. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is coming up here at the end of the month. That provides me with yet another game I have no fear blind buying. So I’m a cheap sucker for anything with a good adventure plot and where you smash things…and of course to top of the holiday season our favorite little plumbers come back with the New Super Mario Bros (because we have a fascination with taking old titles and adding words on them to make them new. Final Destination and the new The Final Destination come to mind…) on the Wii is coming out on November 15th.
So there you have it. Even more games to add to the ever growing holiday list. No matter what genre you prefer, I hope you have a lot of time (and money) on your hands because you’ve got a busy season ahead.
(Hey. If all else fails you can always scrap these suggestions and pick yourself up a copy of DJ hero). Or not, because its going to be a complete ripoff (Jeff’s input).
Shh. They don’t know that yet.
